The Caledon Admirals Jr. A Hockey Club is beginning preparations for the 2023-2024 season, and this is your invitation to attend our spring tryout camp.

The camp will run differently this year, taking place on Monday evenings for five weeks, starting Monday, May 1 and wrapping up on Monday, June 5. All skates will be at the Caledon East Recreation Complex in Caledon East between 7 and 10 pm. This should allow prospective players to participate without conflicting with others camp opportunities.

Monday, May 1 will be a special goaltenders’ camp, also between 7 and 10 pm.   Goaltenders will participate in on-ice and off-ice sessions. The cost is $150, with selected goaltenders invited to participate in the remaining four weeks of the camp. Selected goaltenders will be required to pay an additional $200 if selected to participate in the scrimmages.

The remainder of the camp will take place on Monday, May 8, 15, 29 and June 5 (no skate on the May long weekend). The cost of the camp is $350.

Please complete the registration form and forward it to robininscoe@gmail.com, along with an e-transfer payment to Payments@ahghockey.com, with the secret word ‘hockey’.  Clearly indicate the player’s name and ‘Admirals Camp’ on the e-transfer to ensure proper processing. 

Permission to skate forms can be forwarded at a later date.

Due to the current storm in the GTA, the game between the Caledon Admirals and the Markham Royals, originally scheduled for Dec-23, 2022, has been postponed.

Sunday, May 1 will be a special goaltenders’ camp between 6 and 9 pm.  Goaltenders will participate in on-ice and off-ice sessions. The cost is $125, with selected goaltenders invited to participate in the weekend camp. Selected goaltenders will be required to pay an additional $170 if selected to participate the following weekend.

Camp will take place Friday, May 6 to Sunday, May 8 with a guarantee of one game on Friday, two on Saturday and one on Sunday. Ice sessions will be between 7 and 10 pm on Friday, 10 am and 1 pm, and 4 and 7 pm on Saturday, and between 1 and 4 pm on Sunday. We are also asking special guests to attend an information meeting for players and parents. Each participant will receive a camp jersey.

The cost of the camp is $295.

Proof of Vaccination Requirements Lifted as of March 1, 2022

As public health and health care indicators continue to improve, the following public health measures will come into effect on March 1, 2022.

• Proof of vaccination requirements lifted
• Capacity limits lifted in indoor public settings
• Other protective measures, such as mask/face covering requirements will continue to be in place

While it is no longer required to complete the online screening, please continue to self-screen for COVID-19 symptoms before visiting a facility.
